Terms of Service

1. The service

CardboardFever provides free trading-card checklists, set catalogs, card image galleries, and related hobby reference tools. Covered sports and games include MLB baseball, NBA basketball, NFL football, Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh. The service is provided free of charge. There is no paid tier on CardboardFever itself; a separate paid product exists at exitvelo.ai, which is a different service.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You may browse CardboardFever without an account. To use collection tracking, pull logging, and breaker-follow features, you must register for a free account with a valid email address and a password.

By creating an account, you represent that:

• You are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you have parental or guardian consent.
• The information you provide is accurate and complete.
• You will keep your password secure and are responsible for all activity under your account.

CardboardFever shares a login system with exitvelo.ai. One account gives you access to both services, but each service's features and terms are independent. Creating a CardboardFever account does not create a paid subscription to exitvelo.ai.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at tyler.m.partain@gmail.com. On deletion, your collection, pull history, and account data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download site content in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service, user accounts, or our backend systems
• Use the service to distribute spam, malware, or any unlawful content
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use automated tools to create accounts in bulk or to manipulate pull-log data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Circumvent any access controls or security measures

Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your account and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

4. User-generated content

"User content" means any data you submit to CardboardFever: your collection records, logged pulls, and breaker follows. You retain ownership of your user content.

By submitting user content, you grant CardboardFever a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and use that content solely to provide and improve the service. We do not sell your user content or use it for advertising.

Community pull data may be aggregated and displayed in anonymized form (for example, "X users have pulled this card") to provide context to other collectors. This aggregation contains no personally identifying information.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your user content. We do not verify pull-log claims.

5. Intellectual property

The CardboardFever site design, logo, original copy, and software are owned by CardboardFever and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our original content without written permission.

Card names, set names, card images, and related trademarks are the property of their respective owners (including but not limited to Topps, Panini, The Pokemon Company, Wizards of the Coast, Konami, Major League Baseball Properties, the NBA, and the NFL). CardboardFever displays this content for editorial, reference, and criticism purposes consistent with fair use principles. CardboardFever is not sponsored by, affiliated with, or endorsed by any of these rights holders.

Card checklist data and card images are sourced from publicly available APIs (Scryfall, TCGdex, YGOPRODeck, MLB Stats API) and eBay listings under the terms those services provide.

If you believe any content on CardboardFever infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at tyler.m.partain@gmail.com with the details of your claim and we will respond promptly.

6. Affiliate links

Some outbound links on CardboardFever - labeled "Find on eBay" or similar - are affiliate links through the eBay Partner Network (EPN). If you click an affiliate link and complete a qualifying transaction on eBay, CardboardFever may receive a commission. This commission comes from eBay's network, not from any additional charge to you.

Affiliate status does not influence which cards or products we feature. All checklists and card data are included based on editorial judgment about what is useful to collectors. CardboardFever is an independent EPN participant and is not officially affiliated with eBay Inc.

7. Third-party content and data

CardboardFever displays data and images sourced from third-party APIs and eBay listings. We make reasonable efforts to keep checklist data accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or currency of any card data, card images, pricing references, or availability information on the site.

Links to eBay listings are provided as a convenience. Pricing and availability on eBay can change at any moment; CardboardFever has no control over eBay's platform and is not responsible for any transaction you complete there.

The service may contain links to external sites that we do not operate. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

8. Disclaimers of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Checklist data, card counts, or pull odds are complete or accurate
• Any defects in the service will be corrected
• The service or its servers are free of viruses or harmful components

CardboardFever provides hobby reference information. Nothing on the site constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or any guarantee of card values or collectible returns. Collecting trading cards involves financial risk. Any decisions you make based on information found on CardboardFever are made at your own discretion and risk.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CARDBOARDFEVER AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD (OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS IF GREATER, WHICH WILL BE ZERO FOR CARDBOARDFEVER SINCE THE SERVICE IS FREE).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CardboardFever and its operators from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your use of the service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.

11. Termination

You may stop using CardboardFever and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we believe your use poses a security risk, or if we discontinue the service.

On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Sections 5 (Intellectual property), 8 (Disclaimers), 9 (Limitation of liability), 10 (Indemnification), and 12 (Governing law) survive termination.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against CardboardFever to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of CardboardFever after any update constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you have an account, we may notify you by email of material changes.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the service and delete your account.
